The Bulgarian Citizens traveling with motor vehicles across the territory of the Republic of Slovenia shell purchase vignette stickers when using the roads of the country.

The penalty for traveling without Vignette stickers is from 300 up to 800 Euros. We are giving this information because of the frequent cases of Bulgarian citizens fined. 

The vignette stickers in Slovenia are weekly, monthly, six-monthly and twelve-monthly. Today, May 5^th 2011 The Chairman of the Management Board of Road Infrastructure Agency Sergey Mihalev and the Mayor of Burgas Dimiter Nikolov made a symbolic first sod turn of the “Vladimir Pavlov” overpass rehabilitation in Burgas.

The building site is part of the Overhaul Program of RIA, financed by the state budget. The value of the construction works is 2 643 988 BGN incl. VAT and the contractor of the building works is “Mostremont”-97 LTD. The supervision contract is signed with the company “Transkonsult BG” LTD Sofia to the total value of 44 550 BGN incl. VAT.

 Dipl.Ing. Lazar Lazarov, Member of the Management Board of „Road Infrastructure“ Agency, attended the round table dediated to the Subject   “Possibilities and Constraints Facing the Civil Control in the Case ”Trakia” Highway“.

   The discussion was organized by the Association "Transparency International" Bulgaria. The association presented its report regarding the stage of the publicity and transparency in the procurement and the execution of projects with significant public interest.
